Automatic Optical Test - AOT
The automatic optical test range of equipment has been Lloyd Doyle's core product for over 25 years. The AOT systems are used in the bare printed circuit board industry to find faults on printed images.
The products employ a unique netlist-based set of algorithms to detect fatal flaws on printed circuit boards part way through manufacturing; this improves yields by allowing the defective images to be repaired or removed before continuing the manufacturing process and ultimately gives rise to higher quality printed circuit boards. Quite simply, Lloyd Doyle's AOT systems have the highest defect detection rates of any optical scanning systems and will result in higher manufacturing yields.
